Pancakes Recipe – Making pancakes is a quick and easy task, but making them in your thermomix is quicker and easier than usual!
They are ready for cooking within 1 minute, although it is good for the batter to rest for at least 15 minutes if you have the time.
- 370g plain flour
- 3½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 500g milk
Add all ingredients to thermomix bowl and mix for 10 seconds on speed 6
Place butter into heated pan and allow to melt
Pour batter into heated pan, I usually do one big pancake at a time, but you can do as many and as big as you like.
Wait for bubbles to appear on the surface of your pancake, then flip and cook the other side until lightly golden
Serve with maple syrup (our favourite), or strawberry jam or lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar – Yum!!
